Skiing history has just been made! Andrzej Bargiel 🇵🇱 just became the first person to climb up and ski down Mount Everest without supplementary oxygen 🗻

Andrzej Bargiel climbed and skied Everest South Col route no 02 for its entirety, including the Khumbu Icefall!

Born on this day, 1979.05.22; Marco Siffredi, French climber, who ascended Cho Oyu in 2000 and Everest in 2001, from where he descended the Norton Couloir by snowboard. Also, in 2001 he ascended Sh**ha Pangma Central-Peak. In autumn 2002 he ascended Everest again and attempted to snowboard the most dangerous Hornbein Couloir. He went missing then and there, aged 23.
