Dinant Red Angus

Calving has begun at Dinant Angus! Our first calf is an embryo calf which we are very pleased with. We’re looking forward to a very busy next few weeks!

The Duchess family is one of our favourites. We’re excited to for some new members once we start calving!

We have mostly been posting about our females since we focus on breeding for quality udders, among other things - like correct feet and legs. We don’t keep many bulls, but here’s a bull calf we like.

This pretty little heifer goes back to Red Brylor Caterina 81E, embryos we purchased from Bryan MacKenzie. She’s a Resource daughter. We have a few of them and were very happy with them.

The Ella family is another of our favourites. We were very happy when 19 H had a heifer calf to increase the Ella’s in the herd.

This cow goes back to a cow we got from Lazy MC. We’re pretty happy with her and her calf.

We sold 44 steers at an average price of $6.11/lb. Thanks to the buyers, from Darcy Sheets and all the staff at Viking Auction Market Ltd and to everyone who bid on our cattle!
