🌟 Building Skills, Confidence, and Futures 🌟

At the YMCA, we are proud to support Project SEARCH, a collaborative partnership with the Upper Grand DSB and March of Dimes Canada that helps empower youth as they prepare for life after graduation.
Through hands-on internships and real-world workplace experiences, participants gain valuable job skills, build confidence, and develop the tools they need to successfully transition into the workforce. From learning workplace expectations to exploring career interests, Project SEARCH provides meaningful opportunities for youth to grow, learn, and thrive.
We are inspired by the dedication, enthusiasm, and accomplishments of these young adults and are grateful to be part of a program that creates pathways to employment and greater independence.
Together, we’re helping build brighter futures—one experience at a time. 💙

From June 15–19, the YMCA of Three Rivers is recognizing Stroke Awareness Month.

Our goal is to help increase awareness in our community, support prevention, and ensure more people know how to recognize the signs of a stroke and respond quickly.

Across our Health and Wellness locations, our Health Management staff are working to boost awareness. From sharing risk factors and signs to providing resources and blood pressure tests, we are encouraging people to stay informed about their health.

Swipe through these stroke prevention, risks and FAST signs, resources from the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Understand the risks, the signs, and how to champion your health.

Y Day At The BallPark was a HUGE success.

The sun was shining and families were out, enjoying the game and some special Y Day activities.

Alex, our operational lead at the Chaplin family YMCA threw the first pitch, and the kids got to run the bases.

All in all, it was an exciting night. Kitchener Panthers thank you so much for having us. We hope to come back next year!!

AccessAbility Week has come to a close, and the impact speaks for itself. What began as a 500 km goal became a collective achievement of 4,051 km, over 710% beyond our target.

With 96 participants, this challenge showed the power of community in action.

Building barrier-free communities is ongoing work, but every step forward counts. Together, we’ve made meaningful progress toward greater inclusion and accessibility. The donations raised through this challenge will help support specialized programs and adaptive equipment that provide essential wellness support for individuals in our programming.
