We are very proud to present our 2026 private treaty bull sale offering! Traffic through the bull pen has been the busiest it’s ever been to date and a number of bulls have already been selected. A big thank you to all who have already purchased Pearson bulls!

As always- bulls are sold on a first come, first served basis.

Calving is in full swing around here!

Pretty excited about some new sire groups we’ve used- including Crossroad Ultimate. So far his calves have been coming easy, dark red, extra hairy, and cooool.

A huge thank you to Hillsdown Gelbvieh Ltd for purchasing JNA Penelope out of the Wish List sale last night for $22,500! Penelope is a heifer we are very proud of. She just keeps getting better and better and we can’ t wait to see what else she’s going to accomplish. Thank you to everyone who bid, expressed interest, and offered us compliments on our heifer.

Not going to lie- last week was a real rough week farming. We may of discussed what picture to use on the cover of the disperal catalog haha. After this weekend however- we’re back dreaming big dreams and more motivated than ever to breed and raise good cattle that move our breed forward.

We were also lucky enough to purchase two animals out of the sale- a bred heifer from Silver Line Cattle Co and a heifer calf from Ledgerwood Gelbvieh. Seeing these females in the pen this morning- we both commented on how GOOD we thought they were.

A huge thank you to the Gelbvieh Assoc of AB/BC board for all their hard work in putting this event on. Aaron Birch (and Joe) for their years of organizing the bull futurity. The sponsors…buyers…consignors…and everyone else inbetween…thank you for making this event great.

Also want to send out a huge thank you to Sarah Van Schothorst for all her hard work and dedication to the breed. Your leadership is taking Gelbvieh to another level.

Gelbvieh family- it was great to see you all! Thanks to all who fed and watered Greta because we hardly seen her for two days 🤷‍♂️ Have a great holiday season and see you all down the road soon!

Home and settled after Farmfair International 2025!

Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, and sponsors who make the show what it is. Every year we say we don't have the time to show...yet every year we find a way to attend because we really do love Farmfair. And I guess its genetic because Avry and Greta are already talking about what (unborn at this point) calves they're bringing next year.

Next stop- the Gelbvieh Wishlist in Stettler!
