It's snowing outside but my office hits 90°F (32°C) every day. Home Server, a 3D printer, a filament dryer, and a gaming PC — all that heat had nowhere to go.

So I cut a hole in my wall, 3D printed a custom grill with a carbon filter, and redirected the waste heat into the rest of the house. Thermal camera proof included.

My home lab servers put out so much heat they actually warm my office in the winter. Furnace? Optional.
Sometimes the best features of a home lab are the ones you didn't plan for.

Anyone else running servers that double as space heaters? What's the wildest "side benefit" of your setup?
