WildKind Rescue Society
At WildKind Rescue Society, we believe every animal deserves love and healing. Launched October 2025.
As a foster-based rescue, we give animals in need a safe place to land and the care they truly deserve.
Brave enough to try fetch…

🐾 Baksy Update 🐾
We have officially reached a milestone… 😅
Baksy is being cat tested daily—and we’re happy to report that at least one cat has upgraded him from “absolutely not” to… “fine, you can exist” 🐈
Meanwhile, Basky is still pretty convinced that the 6lb cat might murder him out of spite… so he’s keeping things very respectful 😂
All jokes aside, he’s doing incredibly well:
✨ Curious but gentle with cats
✨ Learning boundaries like a champ
✨ Building confidence every single day
At just 8–10 months old, Basky is still learning the world—and he’s doing such a good job.
He may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his personality really starts to shine 💛
✨ Neuter scheduled for the 24th
✨ Applications are open now
Nigel found his forever home… now it’s Baksy’s turn.

🌟 Spotlight Saturday: Willow 🌟
Just look at that sweet face… how is this girl still waiting? 🤍
Willow is still just a puppy with so much love to give. She’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest curled up beside her people (as you can see 🐾). While her siblings have found their homes, Willow is still patiently waiting for someone to choose her.
She’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly — the kind of dog who will be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your best friend all in one 💕
🏡 Looking for:
• Foster or forever home
• Someone patient to help her continue to grow
• A family ready for puppy love and cuddles
✨ She’s ready to start her next chapter — she just needs someone to give her the chance.
Links will be in the comments.
Weekly Recap 💛
This week brought a mix of hopeful updates and urgent needs for our Wildkind pups.
Vinny needs an urgent foster, preferably foster-to-adopt. This sweet senior boy needs a home with no other animals.
Willow also needs an urgent foster. She is still just a puppy and needs a safe place to keep growing.
Chief needs to find a foster so we can officially welcome him to Wildkind.
Marshal is still looking for his forever home.
Baksy, Nigel’s brother, is also still searching for his forever family.
And the best news of the week… Nigel has been adopted! 🎉
Thank you to everyone who shares, comments, fosters, and supports our dogs. Every bit of help makes a difference.

✨ Think About It Thursday ✨
What if your next best friend is already out there… just waiting for you?
Willow is still patiently waiting for her forever home while her siblings have all been adopted. 💔 But she hasn’t lost her hope — she’s still the same loving, gentle, playful puppy who just wants someone to call her own. 🐶💛
She’s at such an important stage in her life and would thrive with someone who can continue helping her grow, learn, and feel safe.
Whether you’re ready to adopt, foster, or even just share her story… you could be the reason Willow finally gets her happy ending. ✨

The best kind of update… Nigel has officially found his forever home! 💛
After waiting patiently and stealing hearts along the way, this pup is finally where he belongs — surrounded by love, comfort, and a family to call their own. 🏡✨
To their amazing fosters and adopters: thank you for opening your hearts and giving this dog the life they deserve. And to everyone who shared, supported, and cheered them on — you helped make this happen. 🙌
This is why we do what we do. 🐶💕
Stay tuned… more deserving pups are still waiting for their happy endings. Could the next one be yours? 🐾

Okay friends, we’ve got a question for you 👀
👇 Be honest in the comments 👇
• Are you a current foster?
• Have you fostered before?
• Have you thought about fostering?
• Or are you like “I could never, I’d keep them all” 😅
Here’s the thing — we can’t say “yes” to helping more dogs without amazing fosters stepping up first 💔➡️💛
Fostering literally saves lives. It’s the bridge between a dog in need and their forever home 🐶✨
And don’t worry… we support you every step of the way (and yes, we get attached too 🥹)
So tell us — where do YOU fall on the fostering scale? ⬇️

Thank you for being part of their second chance 🐾
Willow is still waiting 💔
All of her siblings have found their forever homes… but she’s been left behind in foster care.
She’s just a puppy — full of love, curiosity, and so much potential. Willow is a pit bull mix who simply needs someone willing to give her the chance to grow, learn, and thrive.
Right now, she needs a foster or forever home. 🐾
Let’s not let her be the one who gets overlooked.

🐾 Tip Tuesday: Let Dogs Sniff on Walks! 🐾
Did you know that sniffing is like social media for dogs? 📱🐶
When you let your dog stop and sniff on walks, you’re actually giving them important mental enrichment. It helps:
✔️ Reduce stress and anxiety
✔️ Burn mental energy (just as important as physical exercise!)
✔️ Build confidence in new environments
💡 Try this: Dedicate part of your walk as a “sniffari” — let your dog lead (safely) and explore at their own pace.
A tired dog isn’t just a physically exercised dog—it’s a mentally fulfilled one too!
