Our girl Junie is getting SO close. 🥹❤️

Her foot is officially healed, she finished her very last dose of antibiotics this morning, and next up is getting this sweet girl booked in for her spay.

And then… she’ll officially be ready to hit the town. 👀😂

Now that we’ve had some time to really get to know her, we can tell you that Junie is one special little lady.

She is still a very shy girl when it comes to humans and likes to do things at her own pace. Trust isn’t something Junie hands out immediately — but watching her slowly realize she’s safe has been pretty incredible.

She has come SO far from the scared, uncomfortable girl who first arrived in our care.

Her next chapter is getting closer. ❤️

And we have a feeling someone is going to fall pretty darn hard for this face.

And then there was one.

Auntie’s house is quiet, Bronx is happy, and the girls are at their new foster homes—who all happen to be amazing. ❤️🥹

🐾 MEET DOUGLAS

3 years old | English Bulldog | Male

Douglas is a big, handsome English Bulldog with an even bigger personality. At around 76 lbs, he’s a solid boy who hasn’t quite figured out just how much dog he is. 😂

Dougie is incredibly people-oriented and loves being close to his humans. He’s affectionate, goofy, and a certified Velcro dog. Personal space isn’t really his thing, and neither is gently walking past you when a full-body bulldog bump will do.

When it comes to other dogs, Douglas requires slow, thoughtful introductions. He is curious about them, but he does have a history of issues with other intact males. We’re continuing to learn about his dog social skills and want to make sure any potential canine sibling is a good match.

He has not yet been cat tested, so his compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

Because Douglas is a big, powerful boy who occasionally forgets his own size, we’re looking for a home with older children only.

Douglas also came into care dealing with punctures, dermatitis and some of those not-so-glamorous bulldog skin issues. He’s healing beautifully, but his future family should be prepared for the ongoing skin and allergy care that can come with owning an English Bulldog.

🐾 The Dougie details: 3-year-old English Bulldog, approximately 76 lbs, neutered, affectionate and people-loving, older children only, slow introductions with other dogs, no cat history yet, and ongoing bulldog skin/allergy management.

WildKind Rescue Society is working alongside K2 Rescue Canada for Douglas as we continue his vetting, assessment and search for the right home. ❤️

🚨 OKAY… WHERE ARE OUR PUPPY PEOPLE?! 🚨

Because somehow we currently have SIX puppies looking for their forever homes. SIX. 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

We have different personalities, different looks, different levels of puppy chaos… but they all have one thing in common:

They need their people. ❤️

🐾 Poppy — confident, curious and ready to take on the world.

🐾 Paisley — tiny, snuggly and fully convinced she’s a princess.

🐾 Rune — our little drama queen with plenty of opinions. 👑😂

🐾 Morty — friendly, people-loving and basically running for Most Popular.

🐾 Remi — playful, smart, food motivated and already learning all kinds of good puppy things.

🐾 Rudy — handsome, clever and a total dog’s dog who would love a canine buddy to show him the ropes.

Six little lives. Six completely different personalities. Six chances for someone to look at a photo and think…

“Yep. That one’s mine.”

They don’t need perfect homes. They need committed ones — families ready for puppy teeth, potty training, ridiculous zoomies, stolen socks and all the really good stuff that comes after. ❤️

And remember: WildKind isn’t first-come, first-served. We’re looking for the right home for each puppy.

Little Miss Paisley is officially the first of the four siblings to head off into foster! 🏡🐾

She packed her tiny bags, said goodbye to the sibling chaos, and is off to start learning what life in a home is all about. 💕

Now we’re hoping her big move can help us find foster homes for Poppy, Rune & Morty too!

At this stage, these babies are ready to separate and head into individual foster homes where they can build their confidence, learn their own routines and get that important one-on-one time with their humans.

We provide the supplies.
