MEET THE MAKERS
🧸Plush Dream Studio makes handmade crochet plushies and bouquets with lots of care and attention to detail. Every piece is created by hand, making each item unique and special. Their goal is to create cozy, memorable gifts that bring comfort and happiness to people of all ages.

🌎Their favourite eco-friendly practice is using reusable packaging whenever possible and creating long-lasting handmade products that can be loved for years instead of being disposable.

🧵Layered Impressions is a small embroidery business creating nature inspired designs rooted in thoughtful, intentional making and low waste production. She works in small batches and carefully considers each piece from start to finish, with a focus on quality, detail, and sustainability.

🌎Her work often incorporates thrifted and reclaimed fabrics into appliqué designs, giving existing materials new life and helping reduce textile waste while adding depth and character to each piece.

👽Jubilee’s Intergalactic Pet Rescue is full of colourful & quirky alien stuffies waiting to be adopted.

🌎Her favourite eco friendly practice is buying old clothes & pillows from thrift stores & turning them into something new.

MEET THE MAKERS
🕯️At Aura Candles, they believe home should feel like a sanctuary — a place you genuinely look forward to returning to. Their candles are more than a source of light; they’re a simple ritual to help you slow down, find calm, and turn everyday moments into something worth pausing for.

🌎Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using a pet-safe apricot coconut soy wax blend, and housed in packaging designed with sustainability in mind. Their 50% off refill program is close to their hearts — because a candle you love shouldn’t end up in a landfill. Bring back your jar, and they’ll bring it back to life.

🧶At Bellissima Crochet, they believe that good things take time. Their micro-crochet jewelry is the antithesis of mass production—each stitch is placed by hand with precision and care. By choosing delicate, handcrafted accessories over disposable trends, you’re supporting a vision of creativity, integrity, and a more sustainable, “slow” approach to style.

🌎 Etched Wallet Art YYC uses sustainable packaging for their RFID blocking wallets. They offer custom laser engraving too!

🍪Blue Bird Baking is a gluten free baker, they learned to bake from their grandmother, it’s a love language. Their favourite thing to bake is chocolate chip banana bread. They love making people happy by baking - baking gluten free is so rewarding to ensure those that need it are given a safe and tasty option.

MEET THE MAKERS
🧶Fixation Fibre & Function is a Calgary-based handmade business where I create one-of-a-kind bags, accessories, and small-batch hand-dyed yarns. Many of my products incorporate upcycled clothing and reclaimed textiles, giving beautiful materials a second life. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to be both functional and unique.

🌎Their favourite eco-friendly practice is upcycling clothing and textiles into new bags and accessories. I also use paper-based packaging whenever possible and repurpose materials for my market displays to reduce waste and make the most of what already exists.

✨Cut by S*M, art glass. He has always been attracted to shiny things. So why not Stained Glass?! He’s an 18 year stained glass artist who loves to work with vibrant colours and textures. He tries to keep my art accessible, as he thinks everyone should have something to brighten up their windows. He’s a two time Empress of Calgary, a 49 year old 2SLGBTQI+ social association, where in his two years as cochair, his team raised over $100,000 for local charities through Drag shows and fundraisers.

🌎Kings Rings favourite eco-friendly practice is upcycling funky spoons into rings for anyone!

💛This one’s a big, grateful heart-burst 💛

Every dollar on this graphic came from you- our shoppers, our vendors, our community. Your generosity at the door, your donation item sales, your “yes, absolutely” moments are what make this possible.

At every Change Makers market, we choose a different local charity to support, because community care should be as diverse and intentional as the people who show up. Together, in 2025, we raised $3,254.61 for organizations doing incredible work right here in Calgary.

This is what happens when makers, shoppers, and good intentions gather in one room.
And honestly? We can’t wait to see what 2026 brings ✨

Thank you for showing up, giving back, and helping us turn markets into moments that matter.

Our next market will be May 30th from 5-10pm at Renfrew Community Association
