Fall is in the air! We took a little break from camp close up to enjoy a day out on the lake soaking up the fall beauty!

A quiet lake, a beautiful sunset, two chairs waiting for someone to sit down, and not a worry in the world.

There’s something about places like this that make you slow down, take a breath, and appreciate how lucky we are to be here.

Maybe heaven isn’t a place we have to wait for. Maybe, every once in a while, we get a little glimpse of it right here on earth.

The boats are getting loaded, the firewood is coming along, and the frying pan is getting ready for one last round of crispy fish.

It’s hard to believe another season is already coming to an end. One last fish, one last fire, one last shore lunch.

Not a bad way to wrap up another great summer on Lower Foster Lake.

Cold rain. Chilly fall air.

The camp cook has officially decided there’s only one thing left to do… take a nap!

Guests are out fishing. A little time to spare. No problem.
