Tonight's lightning storm over southwest Calgary was absolutely stunning!

Last weekend, Jon and I woke up bright and early to catch the sunrise at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. It was absolutely beautiful. The only sounds were the birds, and we saw a wide variety—especially ducks. We even spotted a few beavers and deer.
As the sun rose, a light rain started to fall, adding to the peaceful atmosphere.
I highly recommend going early! I can’t wait to do it again.
