Thanks to the crew from École Olds High School for stopping in last week. They are excited about the chance to host Notre Dame out of Red Deer and raise awareness for domestic violence and collect donations for Kirsten's Place during a charity football game at 4pm on Friday, September 25th at Normie Kwong Park!

Weather is going to be fantastic for a 5 or 10k trip around town to help raise money for one of the best causes there is!

Tomorrow, Sunday, September 20th, our community will come together once again for the annual Olds & Area Terry Fox Run!

We invite everyone to join us as we continue Terry Fox's legacy and help keep this important tradition alive in Olds. Whether you run, walk, bike, or simply make a donation, every contribution helps support cancer research and brings us one step closer to a world without cancer.

Here is everything you need to know for tomorrow's event!

📅 Date: Sunday, September 20, 2026

📍 Location: Mountain View Strength and Conditioning, 5200 49 Avenue, Olds, AB

⏰ Event Times:

10:00 AM – Cash donations and participant check-in begin.

11:00 AM – Terry Fox Run starts!

🏃‍♀️ Run, Walk, or Bike!

Choose between our 5 km or 10 km routes. This is a community event open to everyone, regardless of age or ability. There is no required registration fee, and participation is by donation. Come out with your family, friends, neighbours, or coworkers and enjoy a morning of community spirit while supporting an important cause!

🚗 Parking Information

We kindly ask all participants to park south of Mountain View Strength and Conditioning, next to the train tracks. The event will start and finish at the gym.

❤️ Can't Make It? You Can Still Make a Difference!

If you are unable to attend tomorrow, we encourage you to consider making a donation. Every dollar helps support the Terry Fox Foundation and its ongoing commitment to cancer research.

Online donations can be made at TerryFox.org . Simply search for the Olds run site to contribute directly to our community's fundraising efforts.

You can also stop by the gym tomorrow morning to make a cash donation, even if you are not participating in the run!
