This month, Coach Barbie is showing up for us in a powerful way, joining us for a virtual mentor training on March 7th and an in-person session with our girls on March 28th.

Coach Barbara, a proud Zambian native, is a pioneering Life Transformational and Mental Health Coach, Licensed Counselor, NLP Practitioner, Mentor, Public Speaker, and Social Worker. Her passion for empowering individuals and unlocking human potential has helped many grow in their careers, businesses, and personal lives.

What a beautiful start to the year! ❤️

This past weekend, our Perfectly Beautiful & Accepted (PBA) girls gathered for our first mentorship session of 2026 focused on Identity in Christ & Vision Building. We were honored to host our guests Pastor and Mama Ngenda in Lusaka who shared powerfully with our girls. The room was filled with powerful moments of reflection as the girls were reminded of who they are in Christ and began to dream boldly about their futures.

Perfectly Beautiful & Accepted Mentorship creates a safe space where girls feel seen, heard, and valued. Coming from different backgrounds and many with challenging life experiences, the girls find joy, connection, and strength in community. Through this, they are encouraged to share their stories of resilience and inspire one another and the wider community.

This month, our mentorship meetings with the girls kick off in Lusaka and Chipata on February 21st, with the topic “Identity in Christ & Vision Building.” We will be helping the girls discover who they are in Christ and begin to build vision for their lives.

You can be part of this journey by praying with us and/or giving towards our monthly mentorship meetings and activities as we continue to invest in the girls’ futures. ❤️

As we enter this new month of February, may our hearts and minds settle into a place of rest ~ God’s got this.

January often carries so much busyness: settling into new goals and routines, parents rushing to get children back into school, others coming out of seasons of prayer and fasting. In all of it, be reassured, God has heard every prayer. The answer is on its way, if it hasn’t already arrived.

It’s not so much about what we can do, but about how we respond to God’s leading. That’s where true rest is found.

I recently asked a friend what she was looking forward to this year, and her answer was simple and beautiful: “I’m looking forward to rest, and just sitting at the feet of Jesus.” No big plans or long lists, just receiving strategy from the ONE who knows it all.

When you’ve done all you can, sometimes the greatest thing left to do is to be still and allow yourself to be led by the Holy Spirit.

“Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10)

Our final PBA session of the year both in Chipata and Lusaka this past weekend was absolutely AMAZING! We celebrated every milestone, every lesson learned, and above all, God’s goodness throughout 2025. The girls had so much fun with games, skits, sharing, and reflection — truly a beautiful ending to a powerful year of growth.

To every partner, mentor, and supporter: thank you. Your generosity, prayers, and encouragement made this entire year possible. Because of you, lives were touched, confidence was built, and hope was restored. 🙏💜

We can’t wait for what God will do in 2026!

🌸 Faith in Action! 🌸

What a beautiful and impactful weekend we had with our girls at Merciful Beginnings Orphanage! 💜 The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and celebration as our PBA girls spent time encouraging and sharing love with the children.

The most precious moment of all as some of the children prayed to receive Jesus! 🙏✨
This is what it’s all about, shining God’s light and sharing His love in action.
