There's nothing quite like starting the week off with a cozy campfire and a delicious treat to share with your loved ones. Today, we're serving up a classic campfire recipe that's sure to bring a smile to your face and warmth to your soul.

Campfire Banana Boats

Ingredients:

Ripe bananas (one per person)

Chocolate chips or chocolate bar, broken into pieces

Marshmallows

Crushed graham crackers or granola (optional)

Instructions:

1.Carefully slice each banana lengthwise, creating a pocket but leaving the bottom intact.

2.Stuff the banana with your desired combination of chocolate chips/pieces and marshmallows.

3.Wrap the stuffed banana loosely in aluminum foil.

4.Place the foil-wrapped bananas on the hot coals or grill grate of your campfire, and let them cook for 5-10 minutes, or until the chocolate and marshmallows are melted and gooey.

5.Remove from the fire, carefully open the foil, and sprinkle with crushed graham crackers or granola for an extra crunch (optional).

Enjoy the warm, ooey-gooey goodness of your campfire banana boat!
