On October 26, Ambrose University invites you to a powerful evening confronting one of the most pervasive human rights issues of our time. The Courage to See: Human Trafficking, Exploitation, and Our Collective Responsibility.
Hear from 5 expert Canadian voices; survivors, front-line advocates, law enforcement, and policy experts, followed by a Canadian documentary screening, panel discussions and Q&A exploring human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Canada, and the work being done to address it.
This is a night to listen, learn, and find the courage to see what’s often hidden in plain sight.

On October 6, we’re taking a day to slow down, worship, ask questions and explore what it means to live a flourishing life, with Jesus at the centre ✝️

At Deeper Life Day, we will explore four ways that faith and learning come together:
* The Biblical Story
* The Intellectual Life
* Christian Tradition
* Lived Experience

We’ll worship together, hear from faculty speakers, sit around a table and talk it out; and if you’re up for it, close the day with a walk in Fish Creek Park.

Convocation Chapel reminded us that “Jesus is the centre”, and we are called to continually recalibrate and reorientate our lives, our hearts, our directions, and our professions to Him, not the other way around.

For every student, staff member and faculty member, that invitation looks a little different; but the call remains the same - Jesus at the centre, not the other way around.

As we step into a new semester, may we boldly and unapologetically reorient our lives around Him, and continue to do the same as a community.💛

Big news for Ambrose research!🎉
Dr. Alyssa Michaud, Associate Professor of Music, has received a five-year SSHRC Insight Grant for her research exploring how virtual technology is reshaping the live concert experience 🎶
This is one of the most competitive research awards in Canada, and the first SSHRC Insight Grant led by an Ambrose faculty member as principal investigator.
A first for Ambrose.
