SUNDAY RECAP: Holy Spirit - Apprehending the Kingdom

Jesus didn’t come only to save us from sin. He came to reveal the Father, establish the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, destroy the works of darkness, and raise up sons and daughters who carry His authority.

Throughout Matthew 11:1-15, we’re reminded that the Kingdom is not passive or distant. Everywhere Jesus went, He demonstrated the active rule and reign of God through healing, freedom, restoration, forgiveness, and hope.

Even John the Baptist wrestled with discouragement when life didn’t unfold as expected, yet he brought his questions directly to Jesus instead of allowing disappointment to harden his heart.

The same Holy Spirit who empowered Jesus now lives in believers today, empowering us to live boldly, reject fear and passivity, and advance the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth.

“The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” — Matthew 11:12

Our heart is simply to posture ourselves before Him with gratitude and surrender — to minister to the Lord, listen for His voice, and make room for His presence among us. As we worship and pray, we’ll be standing in faith and declaring His peace, purpose, and reign over our families, our city, and our nation.

There is something powerful about gathering together with hungry hearts, united in worship and prayer.

SUNDAY RECAP: A LEGACY THAT LIVES ON 💐

This past Sunday we celebrated Mother’s Day with a meaningful conversation around motherhood, spiritual motherhood, and raising the next generation in faith. 🤍

Through honest stories, laughter, wisdom, and Holy Spirit-led reflection, we were reminded of the beauty of women who nurture, disciple, encourage, and carry others through every season.

A special thank you to Carol Krause, Heather Cotic, and Christa Delmar for bravely sharing so openly and vulnerably with our church family. Your honesty and wisdom were such a gift.

To every mother and spiritual mother — we honour and appreciate you deeply. 🌷

Celebrate Mother’s Day With Us! 💐

We’re excited to honour and celebrate all of our mothers tomorrow. Moms, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, and women who so faithfully and lovingly pour into the lives of others — each of you is such a gift, and we’re deeply thankful for the love, care, strength, wisdom, and encouragement you bring to our church family.

Whether you’re a longtime part of our church or have been thinking about visiting, we would love to invite you to join us. We believe it’s going to be a meaningful and joy-filled morning together as we celebrate the incredible women who reflect the heart of God in so many ways.
