The Calgary Track and Field Athletic Association is based in Calgary offering year round developmental and competitive training for athletes of any age.
St Mary’s is adding our very own Coach Sam to their team as the Head Coach of Cross Country and Indoor Track and Field. Congratulations, Coach Sam! They are lucky to have you!
Coach Sam will still be leading our CALTAF JD and Crew athletes to excellence as our Head Coach while she Head Coaches at St. Mary’s.

Ready to take your track and field skills to the next level this season? Train with a club program that gives you access to professional coaching, structured development, and high-quality training
environments.
Program Dates: May 26 – July 26
Training Frequency: 3–4 sessions per week, depending on event
group and athlete schedule
Training Times: Contact the Caltaf Office for details
Program Highlights: Compete at the Caltaf Track Classic, the premier track and field event in Western Canada!
Challenge yourself at Club Provincials, July 24–26 in Calgary.
You also get the opportunity to try out for Provincial teams and pursue higher-level competition pathways!

Huge, successful day at the Elementary Schools Championships! 92 different Elementary Schools and 1300 total entries from all around southern Alberta!
Congratulations to all the athletes on such an amazing day. We could not have put this on without our volunteers who are the athletes of CALTAF either! So many came out and gave back to our community and our school systems that have helped us find the passion for track and field.
Congratulations to everyone for helping to make this such a huge success!!!!!

Tomorrow, this is happening! It was amazing last year and this year we have a brand new logo and more athletes coming out to run, jump, and throw! It will be epic!

Chinook Throws Gala over May long weekend gave our throwers the whole gamut of Alberta weather in 72 hours. And, in spite of the weather, some of our throwers came out with new personal bests. Way to go everyone!
