In Toronto for a meeting tomorrow, so I reached out to my good friend Jennifer so we could catch up over dinner (and an unscripted walk 😉) ✔️
Then it happened to be Toronto chapter meeting tonight so I also got to connect with a bunch of my favourite CAPS peeps, meet a few new people, and then hear National President do her thing. So much information.

Day 2 of women's mountain bike skills camp is in the books. 🙌🏼
Another great day with morning skills that included drops, high-speed cornering, and jumps. Fun! ... besides my launch of a ramp, but I landed it with no injuries 😅
.. and an afternoon trail ride with berm and jump sessioning. Weather came in so a second lap didn't happen, but what a day! 🌧️
ramberg and I are already planning for next year! 🚵🏾♀️🚴🏼♀️🚵🏼♀️

Today was day one of the women's mountain bike clinic in Blairemore, AB.
So much fun sharpening skills and learning new ones with a bunch of awesome women, then ending the day with a fun lap in the trails. ⛰️🚴🏼♀️
Thanks Janet for being an awesome coach for our group today (also ... Sourpatch Skittles gummies for the win!)
Great lunch by , then well earned pints and pizza at the end of the day . 🍕🍻
Then sauna back at the airbnb for me, and .ramberg before an early bedtime. 🧖🏼♀️

Jumping on the ChatGPT Sketch bandwagon. While I think it has pretty accurately captured me and what I do, some of the details are 'slightly' off.
The copy reads like those motivational posters of the 90's with all the cliches of creating your 'best life' ... But I guess that's part of what I do 😅
I told Chat I wear on stage and it didn't translate the awesomeness of their shoes (not even close). It even made up a slogan that isn't theirs. 🙃
Plus my Success-Energy Equation isn't right, but you get the idea.
All this to say, the outcome is fun if not overdone, and definitely got me and Islay spot on (picture upload for the win).

We're in for a week of wet weather, starting this afternoon, so head cold be damned, I needed to get on my mountain bike this morning. 🤩
I actually felt pretty good, and the trails are riding great ... for the moment. ☔
Islay, of course had the best time, including blowing her brains out on the drive home (last pic). 🐶

Stress is a pain in the a** sometimes, but it has its benefits too.
When we're stressed, one of the GOOD things about Cortisol is that it BOOSTS our immune system.
