Some photos from May 16th! Live artist activation: Popped up at Holt Renfrew Calgary in the accessories department to paint onto eyewear cases - gift with (glasses/ sunglasses) purchase that day! The cases were a nice blank slate to get a bit creative and I could be more illustrative with some of the work that day.

Repost “Dear Friends! Please join us on Sunday, March 29 from 1-4 pm at the for an afternoon listening, seeing and learning from a select group of artists. The featured presenter is , whose multi-faceted practice is impactful, purposeful and inspiring, will be presenting on her work. Based in Vancouver, they are visiting our city after a month long residency at the Banff Centre, so make sure to make time for this special event.”
Following the feature presentation, they have invited local and emerging artists to present their work, 20 images in six minutes.
The “20 images in 6 minutes” concept is most famously known as a PechaKucha presentation, which is a storytelling format where 20 slides (images) are displayed for 20 seconds each, totaling 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
