I talked to the dew drops this morning,
They yearn for summer
I asked the Sunlight today,
It dreams of dusk
Every leaf has its own stories to tell,
A tale buried in every husk.

I stand waiting…With a hand extended
Are you coming
Clouds ask your name… the rain has landed
Are you coming
The lakes stand barren…the leaves wonder
Are you coming

Somewhere below the stars
Somewhere above the mountains
…resides hope of rain
Somewhere among the clouds
Somewhere away from earth
Resides a god who’s vain.

Conversations with clouds,
With rain afoot
A rendezvous with the peaks,
A star about to shoot
The song of the lakes,
And the snow’s poem
The smell of the wild,
In the winds that roam

A roaring sea
With a lightning bolt
2023 was complete

Like a golden strike out of a cloudy, dreary sky
Like a wave of the free ocean in waters bound
Like a poem on a beast’s lips
Like the smell of earth up high

For it was a storm, she was but a stormy night’s dream.

The warmth of the glaciers
The light of the night
Suns cold rays
Amid the water’s flight.

There was a whiff pa destiny in the air that day,
As if the sun knew he’ll shine on legends
As if the air knew, she’ll touch a dream
As if earth knew, you’ll tread it

Ever since I’ve first held a camera in my hand I dreamt of one day shooting on a RED camera. RED’s cine cameras were the epitome of what an aspiring filmmaker like me could hope to have at my beck and call. I did get a chance to shoot on RED a few times earlier too but the experience still left me wanting for more and I can finally say that journey has concluded with the Komodo 😍
