Happy Lunar New Year and Happy Year of the Horse 🐴❤️
I usually prefer to take photos of my plushies with natural lighting, but I didn’t finish this until an hour ago at 8 pm 😅 And then it took me a hot minute to find a nice background at home, rather than a random tree outside like usual. Note to self: don’t wait until the last minute to crochet something ahahaha

My first time tufting 🌟
My bestie and I went to to try out tufting, and I think we did SO well for our first attempt. I made a Totoro rug and she made a cupcake!
The tufting machine moved way faster than I expected. I struggled to control it at first. My lines were going everywhere 😅 Towards the end, I finally got into a groove and it was so much fun!
I am tempted to turn my basement into a personal tufting studio 🙈

Not my usual craft, but just as cute 🐧
I went to a workshop at the end of December and had a blast making this penguin mug. I really enjoyed working with clay and glazing. My partner came with me, and I love how different our mugs turned out!
The last time I did any kind of ceramic work was in high school, which was over a decade ago 😱 I’m trying wheel pottery for the first time next week, and I’m starting a 6-week class in March. As much as I love crocheting, I’m excited to try some new hobbies this year!

I first found out about tapirs when I travelled to Belize in 2016! I had no idea what they were before, and I was absolutely in love with them by the end of the trip ❤️ I have a fond memory of coming across a large pile of tapir p**p in the jungle, with a smaller pile right beside it. I’d like to believe it was from a mom and her baby 🤣 It’s hard to pick a second favourite animal (first is any primate), but tapirs are certainly top contenders!
I crocheted 18 of these cutie tapir ornaments for a custom order last month 🫶

My first time making a car charm ✨ This was a custom order for a former coworker. I have only watched the live-action One Piece, and I really enjoyed it! I don’t think I could commit myself to the anime or the manga 😅 It was still a fun crochet project for me, and I’m really happy with how it turned out!
I should make myself a cute car charm next. I currently have a Peek-A-Pooh hanging in mine! Did anyone else collect them as kids?!

What’s cuter than one hippo? Two hippos! I love using different yarn weights to make the same pattern. I just think it’s extra adorable to have mini and big versions of the same plushie 🦛🦛

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays ❤️
It was a struggle getting the scarf to stay in place on this little bear 😅 I may have stuffed him a bit too much, but that’s all part of his charm 🐻❄️😂
