May is Speech-Language-Hearing Month, and this year’s theme “Access Changes Everything”— highlights the critical, lifelong impact of timely access to SLP and audiology services, supporting stronger health outcomes, deeper social connections, and greater opportunities to fully participate in school, work, and community life.

Today we celebrate the SLPs who open doors, amplify voices, and make communication possible every day 👏

This camp will be led by Pediatric Occupational Therapists and is open to children between the ages of 2.5-6.

POP-Up Pirate! 🏴‍☠️

One of our wonderful OTs had fun playing Pop-Up Pirate with a creative twist! Recently, she’s been wrapping the pirate in elastic bands, pretending he’s been “captured” before starting the game.

The kids love it, are always surprised, and it adds an extra challenge to keep things exciting and engaging 😊🎯

Earlier this month, Sahaara Therapy came together to connect face-to-face, share laughter, and enjoy each other’s company. We spent time working together to build gingerbread houses and shared a delicious meal, making it a truly special and joyful gathering.

As we look ahead to the new year, we would like to wish all of our families and communities happiness, health, and continued connection. Thank you for being part of our journey, and we look forward to another year of working together.

Thank you to everyone who generously donated to our holiday toy drive!

This season, we were thrilled to collect toys in support of the Calgary Fire Toy Association, helping bring joy and smiles to families in our community.

In addition, we held a clothing donation drive, gathering much-needed winter gear to help keep individuals and families warm during the colder months.

We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, generosity, and community spirit shown by everyone who contributed. Your support truly makes a difference, and we couldn’t have done this without you.
