February has been a busy month in the healing space! I’m feeling beyond grateful for the opportunity to do what I love while helping so many amazing clients recharge, release, align and achieve peace in their bodies. This work truly lights me up! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

A simple explanation for those who have ever wondered, what exactly is “Reiki”?

Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning “universal life force energy”. The energy found in all things. In the practice of Usiui Shiki Ryoho, the facilitator applies gentle touch to connect their client to this beautiful energy. When connected with Reiki in a conscious way, the client can release stagnant energy, reduce stress, experience healing, awakening and a greater sense of wellbeing and vitality.

Mullein has been speaking to me throughout this dark season. Her affinity for the lung (grief) and resilience to change inspires me for reasons I’ll keep close to my heart.
It appears she hasn’t gone dormant yet this winter. Instead, she’s been buried flat and frozen solid in the snow but any day the sun shines directly on her, one or two leaves spring up, reaching for the warm light. Pretty cool 🌱

My Bakers Creek Heirloom Seeds arrived today!! Gotta get an early start on what’s likely to be a shorter growing season.
The new medicine garden will take a couple years to establish and gardening in Central Alberta is going to be very different but I’m up for the challenge! Winters are a little colder and longer than I’m used too so let’s just say, I’m pretty stoked for the snow to melt so I can really get my hands dirty.
