I am very grateful for the recognition! Photography has truly become my passion, and being able to use it to promote great people, things, events, places, etc. makes my heart happy.

Happy Monday! I’m starting mine off right with a straight razor shave.

FRIENDSHIP OVER ROMANCE (A Thoughtful Update ft. Moody Vlog Lighting) 09/03/2020

It's been a while since I posted here, so I figured I'd update all my fans with some fresh video content. A few months ago I started diving into videography and have been making a few VLogs along the way. Here is the most recent one. I talk about studio lighting and relationships (among other interesting things). Enjoy!

I'm meeting many curious critters on the farm this spring. They may be timid, but they're sure not missing any opportunity to have their photo taken.

Exploring Heart Creek Bunker In Kananaskis! 05/09/2020

This was a fun trip with two friends, Takumi and Scott, to Heart Creek Bunker. Takumi and I took some photos and Scott took some video for this YouTube video. Enjoy these behind the scenes!

It's been a bit quiet here, but it’s been for a good reason, I promise! I’ve been working hard at building a stable client base and delivering quality media to those clients, so stay tuned for more content that’s coming down the pipeline. It’s a little backed up, but I swear it’s coming! Hold tight! Until I get a chance to share it all, here’s a photo of yours truly that I took while playing around with some fancy lighting I rented for a job today.

“The Whole Picture”
Someone once said to me that “it’s easy to catch attention with photos of beautiful women”. While they aren’t wrong, and while I believe they said it out of a bit of an envious place, there is something to be said about the work that goes into every other part of a photo. As a photographer, I have to consider lighting, location, pose, and the little details like the model’s hair being caught on a low-hanging branch. Ultimately, a good photo is a good photo regardless of what the subject is, and it’s about if and how you bring everything together that sets you apart from the rest.

Friends and Family,

I will be showcasing my photography at a curated art exhibition mid-April and would love for anyone interested in supporting my craft (or learning more about it) to attend the event. It is a ticketed event, priced at $20/ticket ($30 at the door), which I think is pretty reasonable. There will be music by Terence Kissner, a Toronto house/techno DJ, and many other local creatives displaying their art. It's a great chance to socialize and enjoy the expressions of others.

Anyone that buys a ticket and comes down to see me at my exhibit will receive a 50% discount on a 12"x18" print of one of my abstract/landscape photos! They will be normally priced at $40 for the event.

Here's the link to my artist's profile for the event.
You can buy tickets here!

Perspectives: Cherise 03/07/2020

This was a spontaneous shoot, in collaboration with a young woman, Cherise, whom I came to know through the wonders of social media. Between her natural style, the beauty and intrigue of the hand-picked locations, and my own technical-creative work, I think the photos turned out amazingly. Let me know what you think!
