Details, details, details...

Emerge Challenge 6 was all about capturing the the small details of our subjects and making them stand out

This was definitely one of my favourite challenges because it felt more about connection and creative freedom than technique and guidelines. I loved getting to talk to Orion's mom about her unique parts and share stories about the weird and wonderful quirks our pets have that we didn't realize we loved so much

Sometimes life moves too fast and we forget to slow down to notice and appreciate the little things

As a pet photographer, I have the honor of meeting pets at every stage of life but there is something extra special about photographing senior pets

Every silver hair tells a story of years filled with loyalty, joy, and unconditional love. Their pace may be slower now, but their soul shines just as bright

Every day I am grateful for this creative outlet. Photography is and always will be a part of who I am. I have learned to much over the last couple of decades and I looked forward to continuing this dream and pushing myself even more
