Here's a better question than "Will AI replace Realtors?"

Will Realtors who use AI outperform those who don't?

I think the answer is pretty clear.

The real opportunity isn't replacing what makes you valuable. It's using AI to free up time so you can spend more of it serving clients, building relationships, and focusing on the work that actually moves the needle.

I share more thoughts on this in my latest video: https://www.aiintelligentsolutions.ca/post/the-biggest-ai-myth-in-real-estate

What do you think? Is AI a threat, a tool, or a little bit of both?

A brokerage recently asked one AI question that completely changed how they were thinking about training.

They asked:

“How do we help agents actually USE AI instead of just hearing about it?”

Such a good question. Because information alone doesn’t change behavior. Practical application does.

That’s why our training is focused on real examples, real prompts, real tools, and real estate situations agents are already dealing with every day.

The goal is simple: Leave with more clarity and confidence than when you walked in.

If your office has been AI curious but unsure where to start, reach out. Happy to chat.

Confession: I didn't read all 40 pages.

At least not right away.

This week I uploaded a market report into ChatGPT and asked it to pull out the biggest trends, key statistics, and anything surprising I should pay attention to.

A few minutes later, I had a solid understanding of the report and knew exactly which sections deserved a deeper look.

That's the kind of AI use that gets me excited. Not because it's flashy, but because it gives busy professionals their time back.

Check out my recent post to hear all about it: https://www.aiintelligentsolutions.ca/post/what-i-m-seeing-in-ai-this-week-chatgpt-analyzed-a-40-page-market-report-so-i-didn-t-have-to

Have you tried using AI to analyze reports or documents yet?

After years in real estate training, here’s something I’ve learned:

The best agents are not always the fastest to adopt new technology.

They’re the ones who stay curious.

I recently had an agent tell me:

“I thought AI was going to replace me.”

After one session, they said:

“Okay… this actually just helps me work smarter.”

That’s the conversation we should be having.

Not fear. Not hype.

Just understanding how these tools can support the work you’re already doing.

Because relationships still matter. Trust still matters. Experience still matters.

AI is simply another tool in the toolbox.

What’s your honest opinion on AI in real estate right now? Excited? Skeptical? Somewhere in between?

Everyone keeps asking me:

“Ron, what’s the BEST AI tool for real estate?”

My least favorite answer?

“It depends.” 😅

Because honestly… it does.

Some tools are amazing for listing descriptions.

Some are great for presentations.

Some are fantastic for organizing ideas.

And some are honestly just expensive distractions with great marketing.

The problem right now is there are thousands of AI tools out there and agents don’t have time to test them all.

That’s part of what we do in training.

We cut through the noise and focus on tools that are actually practical for real estate professionals.

Have you tried any AI tools yet that felt worth it… or completely overrated?

One of my favorite moments during training is this exact moment:

Someone in the room goes from…

“I’m not techy.”

to

“Wait… AI can actually do THAT?”

That shift happens almost every single session.

And honestly, I get it.

AI feels overwhelming at first. Especially in real estate where everyone suddenly seems to be talking about it like you’re already supposed to know everything.

You’re not behind.

Most agents just need someone to simplify it and show them practical ways it can actually fit into their business.

No fluff. No tech jargon. No pretending AI does everything perfectly.

Just real strategies for real estate professionals.

If your brokerage has been curious about AI but doesn’t know where to start, let’s talk.

I uploaded a 40‑page market report into ChatGPT — and it did the heavy lifting for me. Discover what it got right, where it stumbled, and how real estate pros can save hours every month using simple AI workflows.

Things Realtors secretly wish AI could do…

1. Politely explain to buyers that the home they saved on Zillow sold 4 months ago.

2. Tell sellers their purple dining room “adds character” but maybe not value.

3. Answer emails sent at 11:42 PM with:
“Great question. Let’s revisit this during normal human hours.”

4. Explain that “move in ready” means different things to different people.

Real talk though…

AI can save agents a surprising amount of time, but it still can’t replace experience, relationships, negotiation skills, or human connection.

And honestly? That’s a good thing.

What would YOU have AI help with if it could magically solve one real estate headache?

Hot take from Ron:

Most agents are using AI completely backwards.

They ask AI one vague question like:

“Write me a listing description.”

Then when the result sounds robotic or terrible, they decide AI “doesn’t work.”

Here’s the truth…

AI is a lot like hiring an assistant on day one.

If you gave a brand new assistant zero context, no direction, and one sentence of information… would you expect incredible work?

Probably not.

The agents getting the best results with AI are learning how to communicate with it properly. Better prompts. Better context. Better outcomes.

That’s exactly what we teach in our trainings. Practical ways to actually use AI in real estate without feeling overwhelmed or wasting hours figuring it out alone.

Curious… what’s been your biggest frustration with AI so far?

Nobody warned us that AI could write us our own theme song. Platforms like Suno and Udio let you describe a mood, a vibe, a feeling, and they hand you back original music that actually sounds like something.

We described "warm, upbeat, feels like a Sunday open house" and what came back was genuinely better than the royalty-free track we've been recycling for two years. Your listings deserve better background music than everyone else's listings. Just saying.
