Hello All;
We are looking to fill the volunteer position of Social Media Coordinator.
This position will involve posting to our social media pages 1-2 times per-week. Using apps such Canva, Hootsuite, Facebook and potentially Instagram. And communication with owner Sophia Fremis via text, Facebook or phone/video chat.

April 22nd, 1915: The Battle of Second Ypres. In Canada’s first major battle, the outnumbered Canadian Division faced the first use of chlorine gas as a battlefield agent. 6,000 soldiers, were killed, wounded, or captured, but the Canadians kept the Germans from breaking through.

In 1917, Canadians successfully attacked the German-held strongpoint of Vimy Ridge. To this day, it is recognized as a symbol of independence and Canadian identity.

November 11th, 1918, Germany signed the Armistice. The war ended at 11 a.m. on this day. More than nine million service personnel and an estimated 20 million civilians were killed in the war. Canadians know today as Rememberance Day. Thank you to all of the soldiers, the fallen and the survivors. Lest we forget. Remember to wear your poppy today and have a moment of silence in support of our heros.

The Battle of Passchendaele, one of the most brutal battles, known for extensive fatalities and severe weather. Canadians pushed through capturing their objective from October 26th to November 10th, 1917. Unfortunately, 16,000 lives were lost.
