Parenting with chronic pain means showing up in ways that don’t always look “traditional”. Some days it’s laughter and play; other days it’s quiet cuddles and gentle presence. But love? Love is always there- louder than the pain, stronger than the struggle 💛

Pain may change how I parent, but it will never change WHY I parent. Love leads every step 💛

There are days my body slows me down, but my heart never does and carries me through. Parenting with chronic pain isn’t easy- but it’s real, it’s raw, and it’s filled with love that finds a way… every single day. 💕

You can be upset 😢🤬😖 and yet grateful 😇🥰🤔

October will always be a tough month for me due to a car accident that cascaded my health journey. This year marks 5️⃣ years passed.

Though I wish it never happened to me and will always still, I’m grateful that it did! To discover in my early adulthood what my health issues are and to be able to shift my perspectives, challenge my health beliefs, foster a balanced lifestyle, and recreate my values is a sneaky gift 🎁

I would not wish upon anyone what I’ve been through or had to endure. But since it did happen, I’m glad it was me so I could grow in ways I never would have known were possible, and become who I am today for a better future forward.

Today I thank myself for what I know now ❤️
