As Mike Holmes always said, "minimum code" is just that...the minimum. This is what "minimum code" can look like over time...even though it "meets code". Especially for foundations, it's usually best to design and build above the minimum.

Moving the tanks into place for a new microbrewery moving into an existing building. Our scope was to analyze the existing elevated ground floor concrete floor slab to support the brewery equipment, including twelve 6000 lb tanks.

Transformed and added much needed space for this old downtown home with a rear addition, complete interior renovation and new 3rd storey addition.

Completely flood proofed (basement included!) custom home in a floodplain. With detached 3 car garage.

Organized chaos....Phase 1: Lowering the basement floor of an old bungalow to achieve 8' headroom using foundation underpinning. New steel beam and post to replace the old wood beam and multiple masonry piers to open up the floor area.

Phase 2: New porch addition and 2nd and 3rd stories being added as we speak...to be continued.
