San Pedro started as a fishing village and you can still buy the catch of the day when the fishermen come in every afternoon. Cook it up yourself or enjoy it in the many restaurant options. It doesn't get fresher than this!

The Potlicker! The unofficial dog of Ambergris Caye! These spunky little mix breeds may appear to be strays as they roam the island freely, but the vast majority of them have homes they return to at night. What a life!
