This evening at the Batanani Stakeholder Dinner, we celebrated our partners and stakeholders who have stood with us over the years by presenting certificates of appreciation in recognition of their unwavering support and commitment to the Batanani Walk.

We were also proud to honour Debswana Diamond Company with the inaugural Spirit of Batanani Award, a special recognition celebrating outstanding partnership and dedication to making a meaningful impact.

Thank you to everyone who continues to walk this journey with us. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow as we Step Up for Child Safety. 💛

This evening is more than a welcome dinner. It is a moment to pause before tomorrow’s walk and reflect on why we gather each year. The Mascom Batanani Walk has never simply been about covering kilometres; it has always been about bridging the distance between awareness and action, as well as between identifying a challenge and becoming part of its solution.

This year’s partnership with the Mpepu, Botswana Police Service and UNICEF reflects exactly the spirit of shared responsibility.
