2025 BGCSE Private Candidates Registration

Bernard sat for his JC Exams in 2023 and did not accumulate enough points (overall grade D) to proceed to senior school.In 2024 through his parent's support he registered to rewrite form 3 and joined Motsadi Tutorials for maths and science tutorials. Registration Commencement Dates
JC - Wednesday 12th February 2025 (First come first served)
BGCSE - 03rd March 2025

JCE Grading System.

Subjects:
A>9. B>7. C>5. D>3. E>1
The provisional grading range is as follows,

A. 80 and above
B. 70 -79
C. 60 -69
D. 40 -59
E. 20 - 39
U. 19 and below

Overall
Merit. 63
A. 55. - 62
B. 41. - 54
C. 27. - 40
D. 13. - 26
E. 12. -7
U. 6. - 0

Subjects are grouped in 3 categories

1. 4 Core (Main), Setswana, English, Mathematics and Science (All the 4 are used for grading)

2. Options, 2 subjects for locals and maybe 3 for foreigners. ( The best 1 is used for grading while the other falls to group 3.

3. Other cores plus remaining option(s).
Social Studies, Agriculture. MORAL education plus the remaining option(s). You pick the best 2 from the 4(5).

A total of 7 subjects are used for grading.
