RLC SA BOTSWANA ALUM
Neo Ellen Meshack is a dedicated Community Development specialist and Cofounder of Imologa Group (Sessions), a platform that fosters dialogue, healing, and collective resilience. Through Imologa, she hosts and facilitates conversations that address social issues and personal and community issues, creating spaces for learning and empowerment. Neo’s leadership journey was strengthened through the YALI Regional Leadership Center – South Africa, Online Cohort 7 (Civic Leadership Track), where she developed skills in civic engagement, facilitation, and advocacy. This experience expanded her role as a moderator, panelist, facilitator, and speaker in diverse forums.
Neo serves at the Masiela Trust Fund, contributing to child protection, wellness, and poverty reduction initiatives while advancing community empowerment. With more than a decade in the NGO space, her experience spans program design and stakeholder engagement, reflecting a deep commitment to sustainable development. As a final Master’s student in Lifelong Learning and Community Development, Neo combines academic rigor with practical experience. She also contributes articles to Right for Education as a volunteer writer, sharing insights on community, social development, and indigenous knowledge.
Neo’s journey reflects a commitment to civic leadership, education, and collective action, inspiring change across Botswana, Southern Africa, and beyond.

The Africa Startup Accelerator is an intensive 3-week program focused on advanced entrepreneurship and leadership, utilizing the Venture School curriculum tailored specifically for high-potential startups eager to scale. Participants will adopt the Lean LaunchPad methodology, engaging in hands-on curriculum designed to rapidly test, refine, and launch their ideas. This program will be hosted by the Institute for International Business at Tippie College of Business.
