Today we honour queens, warriors, burden bearers, nurturers, and God’s chosen vessels of love and strength. We honour the women whose hands have carried generations, whose prayers have protected homes, and whose sacrifices have shaped lives in ways words can never fully capture.

What would life be without mothers? They are the heartbeat of families, the light in seasons of darkness, and the quiet strength that holds the world together when everything else begins to fall apart.

Dear mother, today we ask you to pause for a moment and look at how far you have come. Look beyond the struggles, beyond the sleepless nights, beyond the tears nobody saw. You may feel as though you have achieved little, but the truth is, what you have done is everything. Every sacrifice you made planted seeds for someone else’s future. Every prayer you whispered became protection over your children. Every moment you chose love over giving up became an act of greatness.

Happy mother’s day!! You are loved!

Someone said that, most of the time we don’t want to heal because pain is the only connection we have to what we have lost. So healing feels like letting go. And letting go feels like losing them all over again…

Think about that grief you cannot let go off. Either of a loved one who passed away or a relationship or friendship that long died.

Sometimes we keep revisiting the wound because it reminds us that what we felt was real and mattered. That they too mattered. But healing does not mean forgetting or that love disappears. It simply means you are learning to carry the memory without allowing it to carry your life away with it.

We need to understand that honoring what we lost does not require us to remain broken forever. You can miss them deeply and still choose peace. You can remember them fully and still allow yourself to smile again. You can let go of the pain without letting go of the meaning.

I’m looking at your glass to see if you need a refill. You’re looking at mine to see if I have more than you. One mindset is driven by care while the other is driven by comparison.

I find joy in making sure the people around me are okay. You find concern in measuring what others have against yourself. While I’m thinking about how to add value to your life, you’re counting what you think is missing from yours.

That’s the difference between us. I believe life becomes better when we lift others up. You believe life is a competition that must always be measured.

Some people enter a room carrying generosity. Others enter carrying envy and the need to always be in competition. And eventually, both reveal themselves without saying a word.

Have you ever heard someone say they have “natural hate,” for someone? Finding themselves disliking another person for no reason whatsoever. Well there is no such thing as “natural hate.” What people often call hate is usually discomfort within themselves. Someone’s presence can make you feel small or exposed, and instead of facing that, it turns into resentment.

Some people naturally challenge others just by being who they are. Their presence brings reflection, and for those not ready to grow, that can feel threatening. It can trigger their insecurities so much, leading to this intense dislike.

So friend, if people often react cold towards you for no reason, understand that you are not the problem, but they are. It may simply mean you stir something within them. That is not something to take pride in, but something to carry with awareness. You can be an intern and still shake a whole CEO with your presence. You can be unemployed and still threaten people with stable, good jobs. It’s all in the aura.

Sometimes what feels like hate is just unhealed parts of someone being brought to the surface. Your light will blind those who are still healing.

Happy New Week!!

This weekend was a powerful reminder of who we are as Batswana. The patriotism, the unity, the warmth we showed our guests. It is still within us.
We still are loving nation. You could feel it in the way people came together, oh the pride.🥺🙌

Even with our struggles and differences, moments like this show that our botho and love for our country has not faded. We still carry our culture with pride. And that is something worth holding on to.🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼

Word of the Day!!!

Jesus is not just another voice in your life. He is the only Shepherd who leads to real life, while every other voice, no matter how appealing, slowly takes something from you. He knows you personally and calls you by name, but He will not force you to follow. You have the power to choose whose voice to obey, and that choice shapes your life. If you ignore Him, you will wander; if you follow Him, you will find clarity, purpose, and life in its fullness.

Happy Sunday!🙏🙏
