EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPT TO THE CONSTRUCTION JOURNAL OF BHUTAN (NO.4): 27TH MAY 2023

The Bhutan Construction and Transport Authority (erstwhile Construction Development Board) invites all interested authors, researchers, academicians and filed experts to submit their manuscript for publication in the Construction Journal of Bhutan No.4 (2023).

The journal was first published with the objective of disseminating information about the construction sector. The journal publishes research articles, research reports, case studies, review papers and comparative studies on topics related to the construction sector or the built environment such as procurement, economy, design, architecture, engineering, management, manufacturing, business, urban planning, sustainable development, traditional architecture, occupational health and safety, human settlement, human resource and construction projects.

The journal publication will be conducted via the Construction Journal of Bhutan website. This can be accessed through www.cdb.gov.bt > Research and Publication > Construction Journal of Bhutan. Each article will be published as and when the manuscript is submitted (after due publication process) and will be made available on the website.

Deadline: The deadline for the submission of the manuscript is 27th May 2023.
(The deadline extension is being granted due to limited submissions).
Submit your paper using the template found on the Construction Journal of Bhutan website. The manuscript has to be submitted in word format. Please include the Figures and Tables in editable format.

Induction Course for Contractors
The Bhutan Construction and Transport Authority is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the Induction Course for aspiring contractors.

The Induction course will be conducted online.

Eligibility:
1. Bhutanese Citizen
2. 18 years and above
3. Not a civil servant or a corporate employee

Requirements:
1. Valid email ID
2. Be able to use Zoom
3. Have accessibility to the Internet with at least 1.5 mbps speed

Registration Fee:
Nu.1000/- (non-refundable)

Registration Instructions:
1. Registration for the course will open on 28th March 2023 and will close on 5.00 p.m, 30th March, 2023
2. Please provide your correct and complete details as required in the registration form
3. After filling the form, on submission, you will see ‘submitted successfully’
4. That completes the registration process.
5. Proceed to make payment of the registration fees upon receiving DV voucher number after the last day of closing

Registration Fee Payment Instructions:
1. Upon the closing of registration, the registered participant will be intimated with a DV voucher number.
2. You are requested to pay the registration fee of Nu.1000 against the voucher using any payment app such as MBoB or MPay or visit the nearest RRCO
3. Please share the screenshot of the payment receipt to [email protected] with your Name and CID mentioned in the email.
4. Your seat is only confirmed upon the fulfillment of the payment
5. The final list of participants (in batches depending on the turnout) will be shared to all successful participants by email and CDB website

During the Induction Course
1. The training details and link will be sent on fulfillment of the payment.
2. Attendance will be taken for the training. Participants must attain 80% attendance to receive the certificate
3. The participant’s name and username on screen should be same
Induction Course Date
The One day Induction Course will tentatively start from 4th April 2023, and depending on the turnout of participants,it will be extended.
Successful registrants will be notified of the time and date of their one day course based on ‘first come first basis’ for seat and batch confirmation.
