We spent a wonderful week in Bimini connecting with the community ahead of the latest DigiLearn Bahamas and University of The Bahamas public forum, 'Why Big Data is a Game Changer in Tourism', speaking to residents and organisations on howbig data can support better planning and deeper insights in the tourism sector.

We are especially grateful to Island Administrator Mrs. Eva K. Arthur for her support, which helped us meaningfully connect with so many persons across the island.

We moved throughout Bimini meeting people where they were, connecting with government agencies at the George W. Weech Complex, and public and private sector institutions across Alice Town and Bailey Town (local shops, restaurants, and small businesses).

We also visited schools, including Bimini Primary School and Louise McDonald High School, engaging both students and staff as schools across the country celebrated Literacy Week.

A highlight of the week was joining a midweek service at Gateway Outreach Ministry, where we were welcomed into fellowship and given the opportunity to share directly with the congregation.

Overall Bimini was truly the 'gateway' for the DigiLearn Bahamas team as we continue supporting digital growth across the islands.
