This is the most recent accident on the Queens Highway in Exuma in the area of Mt Thompson. We are sure that speed played a part.
As we reflect on speed, there is a black Mustang that is being driven daily at a reckless rate of speed on the Queens Highway. We are sure that the driver is breaking every speed limit on the books. We are calling on the police in Exuma to investigate.

Congratulations to St Andrew's HS in George Town Exuma on the completion of its classroom block. The project was led by Mr Cecil Smith, with the main donor being the owner of Turtle Grass Resort on Sampson Cay.

Long Island we congratulate you on your PROGRESS. You have a permanent Regatta site and are now looking to erect a Regatta office on the site. You are leaving Exuma behind. Well...... In 2023 we think our MP promised a Regatta museum at the location of the old clinic in George Town. A sign was erected saying coming soon. We still await its arrival. Maybe one day we will have an Exuma Association like your Long Island Association. And NO, we on this page will not lead the charge to create an association. Our job is to complain :)

A reason to love Exuma. These pictures were submitted by one of our followers. I personally have been attacked by many of these Antillean nighthawks or, as we call them, mosquito birds. I would not approach these kamikazes with a ten foot pole, but this bird watcher did. It kept very still even though he was about 12 inches away. Brave young man. Lolololo.

For the second time this week a mail boat has been unable to dock at the George Town dock because of low tide. What is going on? Have the tides changed that much? Are captains unfamiliar with tidal flows now? Can the tides no longer be predicted? Does the George Town Harbour need dredging? First the Fast Ferry, now the Mail Boat awaits the tide.

As Exuma struggles to make our mainland look as good as our marine environment, can we ask the Department of Environmental Health or which ever agency is in charge of environmental nuisances to investigate this business in Hooper's Bay. It is an eyesore.

We on Exuma know that we owe the success of our adventure water tours to the swimming pigs but can you at BTC do more to promote Pompey and also do a fact check on the information that you published about Lord John Rolle. He DID NOT deed his land to his formerly enslaved Africans.

Mr Cooper, we will hold you to this commitment as the new MOE to tackle the teacher shortage issue. Your Alma Mater has suffered greatly this past school year from a teacher shortage. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1EAf8PWKj6/

We have noticed an unusual trend in The Bahamas lately. We call it Virtual Begging. On any day, you can have a minimum of 20 such requests across various pages and platforms. Is this a phenomenon for the churches or social services to look into?

Exuma is a growing economy. Can we make life a bit more pleasant for its residents by investing in well-defined beach access points? Mr Cooper, before the elections, you promised to make beach access a priority. Is this still your plan? PROGRESS!!!!!
