The SREI's Parent Consultative Group (PCG) held its 1st general meeting last Friday July 12, 2014 2pm at SREI Library. The meeting focused on the following.

1. Separate clubs for Kinder, Preparatory and Grades 1-3
* Battle of the Books aims to:
-Encourage children to read.
-Improve comprehension skills
-Improve conversation/communication skills
* Lego Club
-Builds creativity
-Develop fine motor skills
-Plays off child strength
-Can help build confidence
-Helps problem solving skills
* Special Chorus
-Builds confidence, pride and self esteem
There will be tutorial sessions for those children who like to learn how to play guitar, flute and piano.
