passion, ideas, community The solution: Give them a format and a chance to talk about their current interests and listen to others doing the same.

At a time when email, Facebook and Twitter seemingly reduce the need for face-to-face encounters, a PechaKucha Night forces us out of the house/office and into a social space for stimulation and interaction. It involves a variety of visual artists presenting their out-of-the-box creative ideas on any topic of their choice for everyone to enjoy, think about, laugh at and, maybe, be inspired by. PKN

Every community tells a story — but whose voices shape the narrative?

This Friday, Pecha Kucha Bermuda returns with an evening of bold ideas and thought-provoking conversations.

Our next featured presenter is Stacey-Lee Williams, presenting “Dominant Narrative vs. Counter Narrative: Whose Story Gets Told.”

In this Bermuda-focused talk, Stacey-Lee explores how dominant narratives are formed and how alternative perspectives can reveal a more complete picture of our shared history.

Drawing on examples from Bermuda’s colonial past and present, she will examine how narratives shape the way we understand topics such as:

📚 Education
🌴 Tourism
⚖️ Race
🏛️ Class and social structures

Through images, storytelling, and reflection, the presentation invites us to consider a powerful question:

When we tell Bermuda’s story, whose voices are heard — and whose are missing?

Stacey-Lee Williams is a Bermudian educator and social justice advocate and serves as Executive Director of Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda (CURB). She holds degrees in Business Administration and Educational Psychology and is a certified Restorative Practitioner actively involved in initiatives focused on equity, restorative practices, and social change in Bermuda.

This Friday, Pecha Kucha Bermuda returns with an evening of powerful storytelling, bold ideas, and deeply personal journeys.

Our next featured presenter is Dileri, presenting “A Tantrika’s Path.”

A devoted traveler of both the outer world and the inner body, Dileri spent years living across Italy, Egypt, Australia, and six transformative years in Asia exploring practices that reconnect us to our deepest vitality.

Grounded in the Tantrika tradition, her work honors eros not simply as sexuality, but as vitality, creative power, and sacred aliveness.

✨ In this deeply personal talk, she will share:
🌍 A journey shaped by travel, displacement, and cultural contrast
🧠 How life experiences shape the nervous system and our sense of belonging
🧘 Practices of movement, breathwork, and presence learned in Asia
🔥 A path toward reclaiming personal sovereignty and living fully alive

Through her work, Dileri helps guide others back into their bodies — supporting them in moving through pain, reclaiming energy, and living with softness, courage, and authenticity.

Her presentation invites us to reflect on a powerful idea:

Belonging may not be something external — it may be a state we cultivate within ourselves.
