I have not taken much orders since the beginning of summer nor have I posted much content. Extra busy schedule between family, work and 4 classes this semester. All good things though!
However, here is some super moist ginger bread so you know Q-Cakery has not gone anywhere!

I really do not know why people were told not to play with their food, not that I recall being told that. Anyway, I decided to play with my favorite dessert! Tiramisu! And omg did she come out awesome!
The buttery tart crust, the rum and espresso soaked lady fingers to the creamy whipped mascarpone and finishing the palate off with the delicious semi-sweet chocolate! Oh! What an experience!
I will be eating this all week!

Besides it being super hot to bake, because a simple fan in the kitchen has just not been cutting it, I have been feeling very unmotivated to bake. Conflicted, even, by events that have happened over the duration of this year. I shouldn't allow negative situations to sway my passion but instead be part of the force that drives me. Nonetheless, I had to step back a bit. And when I came back to it, thanks to an amazing support system, it felt just as homey as ever.
So this week I made my super moist chocolate cake, double chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies and sugar cookies.
I've missed my oven!
