GOD REWARDS OBEDIENCE.

46 years ago, Bob Pierce, the founder of Samaritan's Purse and my good friend, went home to be with the Lord after a battle with Leukemia. God used him to change many lives around the world, including mine. He was a mentor to me and taught me many lessons, including about what he called “God room.” He explained it this way, “God room is when you see a need and it’s bigger than your human abilities to meet it. But you accept the challenge … Then you begin to watch God work. Before you know it, the need is met. At the same time, you understand you didn’t do it. God did it. You allowed Him room to work.” To this day, “God Room” is a huge part of how Samaritan’s Purse works around the world, and we give Him the credit and the glory for everything that is accomplished.
