Winter Sect's new single ‘Graveyard Girl’ mixes funk, garage, indie pop and bossa nova through a post-punk lens – a shift from the darker ‘Say Goodbye.’ Singer Heather Wayward said it started with bassist Claudia grooving on a bass line during rehearsal, and the hook grew from there. Out October 2 on Bandcamp and streaming, ahead of the EP ‘Offering.’

Echo Image's new album has been about 20 years in the making – and Pål-Magnus Rybom just heard ‘My Shadow, My Echo and Me’ from start to finish for the first time, calling it “strange but pretty damn good.” Only final mixing, mastering and artwork remain. Apoptygma Berzerk's Stephan Groth and singer Linda Eikemo both contributed to the record. No release date has been set yet.

Norwegian band Seigmen returns to Tons of Rock in Oslo in 2027, its third appearance after 2015 and 2024, among the festival's first 17 confirmed acts. (link in the first comment)
