Budget for the Fiscal year 2021-2022 is presented in the Parliament of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
Even though Direct tax like income tax related provisions shall become effective after the Finance Act, 2021 is passed, however, changes to rate of indirect taxes like Customs duty, VAT, RD, SD etc. has started operating the day the budget was presented due to the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1931.
