"Rainspell" evokes a magical, spellbound feeling of being in the rain, while "Promenade" refers to an architectural walking path that guides the experience.

অন্ধকারের খাঁ খাঁ সীমান্তে মুক্তিসেনার চোখের ঝিলিক,
স্বাধীনতা তুমি
বটের ছায়ায় তরুণ মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থীর
শাণিত কথার ঝলসানি লাগা সতেজ ভাষণ।
স্বাধীনতা তুমি
চা খানায় আর মাঠে-ময়দানে ঝোড়ো সংলাপ
স্বাধীনতা তুমি
কালবোশেখীর দিগন্ত জোড়া মত্ত ঝাপটা।"
১৯৭১ সালের আজকের এই দিনে বাঙালি জাতি তাদের ইতিহাসের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ অধ্যায় রচনা করেছিল— দীর্ঘ নয় মাসের রক্তস্নাত যুদ্ধের অনুপ্রেরণার উৎস আমাদের এই স্বাধীনতা দিবস। ২৬শে মার্চ আমাদের গর্ব, আমাদের অস্তিত্বের স্পন্দন, হাজার বছরের লালিত সাংস্কৃতিক স্বকীয়তার মহাকাব্যিক অভ্যুদয়।
পাকিস্তানি শোষণের অন্ধকার থেকে মুক্ত হয়ে আমরা যে আলোকিত পথের সূচনা করেছিলাম, আজও সেই স্বাধীনতা আমাদের শেখায়—অসম্ভব বলে কিছু নেই।
আজকের এই দিনে আমরা স্মরণ করি সেইসব অমর বীরত্ব গাঁথা বীরদের, যাদের রক্তে লেখা হয়েছে আমাদের স্বাধীনতার বর্ণমালা। বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা, বুদ্ধিজীবী, মা-বোনের আত্মত্যাগের মহিমায় আজ এই দেশ মাথা উঁচু করে দাঁড়িয়েছে। তাদের মহান আত্মত্যাগের স্বপ্নকে লালন করেই আমরা গড়ে তুলবো এক সমৃদ্ধির বাংলাদেশ।
সবাইকে মহান স্বাধীনতা দিবসের অফুরান শুভেচ্ছা।
