Environment Pollution :

The environment means the air, water and land in which people, animals and plants live. Human beings, animals, plants, air, water and soil are the part and parcel of the environment. But when they are polluted and their balance is disrupted, it is called environment pollution. Nowadays it has become a serious problem for sustainable life on earth. Pollution is everywhere. We, ourselves, are responsible for this situation. Industries and factories emit huge amount of smoke, gases and fume. Motor vehicles also do the same thing. All these cause air pollution. Water is polluted from the dumping of industrial wastes and by chemical fertilizers and insecticides. Sound pollution occurs due to the indiscriminate use of vehicle horns,loud speakers,microphones etc. Soil is polluted by harmful chemical fertilizers, pesticides and insecticides.Trees play an important role in conserving the environment. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. Thus, they save the environment. But trees are being cut down for different commercial purposes. This need to be addressed for the sake of keeping our environment healthy. If pollution goes on, a day will come soon when the earth will turn into a desert. To make life healthy and comfortable, we should keep the the environment clean and pollution free.

This will enrich our knowledge. Our English teacher has consented to be our guide.
