Independence was earned… but is true freedom achieved?

Every day, we witness lives hanging by a thread—unsafe roads, fragile systems, corruption, fear, and uncertainty.

From broken bridges to burning hopes, from silent to loud injustice—the question remains when will we truly be free from this fragile life?

Freedom is not just a date in history.
It’s the right to live safely, to walk without fear, to trust the system, and to believe that every life matters.
Until then, our independence remains incomplete.

It’s time to raise our voices not just to remember freedom, but to demand a life worthy of it.

We are proud to have such a talented and inspiring mentor in our PSDC family.

We are very pleased to announce the successful publication of our Debaters’ Recruitment 4.0.

With the inclusion of new faces, PSDC moves forward with renewed energy, focusing on public speaking, logical reasoning, critical thinking, and intellectual excellence.

কথা হোক মন খুলে, মায়ের ভাষায়।
যে ভাষায় বাঙালি শিখেছে মাথা উঁচু করে দাঁড়াতে, যে ভাষায় লেখা হয়েছে যুক্তির লড়াই আর মুক্তির ইতিহাস।

আজ সেই ভাষাতেই হোক চিন্তার সংঘাত,
যুক্তির মাধ্যমে ছড়িয়ে পড়ুক মুক্তির চেতনা ও আনন্দ।

ভাষার জন্য আত্মোৎসর্গকারী সকল শহীদদের প্রতি রইল গভীর শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি।

এই প্রতিপাদ্যকে সামনে রেখে পপুলেশন সায়েন্স ডিবেটিং ক্লাব কর্তৃক প্রথমবারের মতো অনুষ্ঠিত হলো "তারুণ্যের চোখে নির্বাচন ও গনভোট শীর্ষক" অন্তঃবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা।

প্রতিযোগিতায় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিভিন্ন বিভাগের স্বতস্ফুর্ত অংশগ্রহনের মাধ্যমে চলে ৩ টি ট্যাব রাউন্ড এবং সেমিফাইনাল ব্রেক করে ফাইনালে উঠে টিম Justice for Hadi ( LGUD) এবং টিম Anonymous ( L&J)।

৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৬, বিকাল ৩:৩০ টায় পপুলেশন সায়েন্স বিভাগে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ফাইনাল রাউন্ডটি। উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত হয়েছিলেন প্রফেসর ড. মোঃ জয়নুল আবেদীন সিদ্দিকী, মাননীয় ট্রেজারার, জাককানইবি। উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেছেন পপুলেশন সায়েন্স বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান জনাব ড. কে এম মুস্তাফিজুর রহমান।

উক্ত প্রতিযোগিতায় চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয় আইন ও বিচার বিভাগের টিম Anonymous এবং রানার্সআপ হয় স্থানীয় সরকার ও নগর উন্নয়ন বিভাগের টিম Justice For Hadi.
