We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Rev. Funato(1936-2025)—our mentor and dear friend—who faithfully served ACEF for a remarkable 35 years as Director, Chairman, and Advisor.

His leadership was steady, his wisdom generous, and his compassion unmistakable. Because of his dedication, so many children, families, and communities found hope and practical support in Bangladesh. He taught us to serve quietly, to plan carefully, and to love boldly.

We give thanks for his life and ministry, and we commit ourselves to carry forward the work he cared for so deeply.

May the Lord grant him eternal rest, and may God’s comfort surround his family and all who mourn.

BDP Handicrafts training for Students & Mother groups. Organised by ACEF, facilitated by BDP. BDP is grateful to Chuzuru & Yurika san for their relentless effort for the training a fruitful one.

BDP has done Huge Relief efforts in Khagrachari & Noakhali districts. Giving 4000 families in each districts, with a total of 8000 families receiving this relief effort from BDP. The two districts were seriously affected by flash floods coming down from India. The relief effort was done with the help of JAFS & Japan Platform, with BDP as the local implementing agency. The relief effort was done from November 9th to 18th, 2024.
