Doctors at Bangladesh Medical University successfully saved five premature quintuplets born at 33 weeks gestation. Delivered via C-section on 5 April 2026, the infants faced severe respiratory distress and low birth weights, with the smallest weighing only 985 grams. Following weeks of intensive NICU care involving CPAP support, early breastfeeding, and Kangaroo Mother Care, all five babies were discharged in healthy condition today.
