গলায় মাছের কাঁটা আটকে গেলে, আম্মা একদলা-শুকনো ভাত খাইয়ে দিতেন আর বারবার জিগ্যেস করতেন কাঁটার ব্যাপারে। আমিও ঢোঁক গিলেগিলে যাচাই করতাম নামল কিনা। একসময় নেমে যেত, আমার চেয়ে আম্মার স্বস্তি তখন অনেক বেশি৷
এখন সারা গায়ে কাঁটা। ফোঁড় খেয়ে বেঁচে আছি। আম্মারে দেখাতে পারি না। দেখাতে পারলে নিশ্চয়ই তিনি সব কাঁটা নামিয়ে দিতেন অনায়াসে। কেন যে দেখাতে পারি না!

জীবনে ঠিক যেটা যেটা অপছন্দ করেছি আলহামদুলিল্লাহ ঠিক সেগুলাই পেয়েছি 🥲
