We are very proud to announce that VISIE is now at ICML 2026.

Big shout out to Sanaullah Ashfat for taking us there. His research entitled “Spectral-Spatial Mixing with Morphology-Aware Adaptive Loss for Medical Image Segmentation” is accepted and going to be presented at ICML 2026, an A* venue for high impact research on AI and Machine Learning.

At VISIE, we always push forward to make impactful innovation by solving real world problems. His research is a SOTA Medical Image Segmentation model that leverages the spectral properties of medical images based on classic convolution operation, rather than computationally expensive Attention Mechanism. The model was tested across 15 datasets and 8 medical imaging modalities, showing strong performance while using only 4.7M parameters.

But it represents something bigger, we can contribute at global scale in healthcare innovation.

But we are not stopping here. An extension of this work is submitted at NeurIPS 2026. We are also keeping a close eye on BMVC 2026 and AAAI 2026. Keep us in your prayers. Wishing the team very best.
