Problem-Front part and back part not in balance, front part pulls up at center front area.


Solution- need to add more front length (1.5 to2cm). Pls change pattern like above right-side photo and increase shoulder slanting as well only at front.

Solution- According to customer required length- need to increase the inseam or reducing the side seam length.

How to Measure Button Ligne (L)

Button Ligne (L) = Diameter in Millimeters (mm) ÷ 0.635

Ligne (L) is the standard international unit used by garment manufacturers and merchandisers to measure and communicate button sizes.

Basic Standard

• 1 inch = 40 Ligne (40L)
• 1 Ligne (L) = 0.635 mm

Formulas and Calculations

1. To Find Ligne (L) from Millimeters (mm)
Formula:
Button Ligne (L) = Diameter (mm) ÷ 0.635
Example:
Button diameter = 15 mm
15 ÷ 0.635 = 23.62L ≈ 24L
Therefore, a 15 mm button is approximately 24L.

2. To Find Millimeters (mm) from Ligne (L)
Formula:
Button Diameter (mm) = Ligne (L) × 0.635
Example:
Button size = 20L
20 × 0.635 = 12.7 mm
Therefore, a 20L button has a diameter of 12.7 mm.

3. To Find Ligne (L) from Inches
Formula:
Button Ligne (L) = Diameter (inch) ÷ 0.025
Example:
Button diameter = 0.35 inch
0.35 ÷ 0.025 = 14L
Therefore, a 0.35-inch button is approximately 14L.
