โฅ The mother of the believers, Hafsah RadiyAllahu Anhaa reports that Rasool Allah SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam used to fast the (first) nine days of Zul Hijjah. [Nasรฃ'ee, Ahmad, Aboo Dรฃwood]
โฅ Abdullah Ibne 'Umar RadiyAllahu Anhu related that Rasool Allah SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam said, "No days are as weighty with Allah and so liked by Him for good deeds than the first ten days of Zul Hijjah. So on these days increasingly read SubhanAllah, Laa ilaaha ilAllah, Alhamdulillah and Allahu Akbar." [Musnad Ahmad]
โฅ Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam said, "When anyone of you intends to sacrifice the animal and enter in the month of Zul-Hijjah, he should not get his hair cut or nails pared till he has offered his sacrifice.'' [Reported by Muslim]

The Messenger of Allรขh (SAW) was neither very tall, such that he would be clearly noticed, nor was he short. He was not extremely white and neither was he very brown. His hair was neither very curly nor completely straight. Allรขh commissioned him towards the end (raโs) of his fortieth year. He remained in Mecca for ten years and in Madรฎnah for ten years. Allรขh caused him to pass away at the turn of his sixtieth year and there were not to be found [as much as] twenty white hairs on his head and beard.
Abรป Rajรขโ, Qutaybah bin Saโรฎd informed us; from Mรขlik bin Anas; from Rabรฎโah bin Abรป โAbdur-Rahmรขn; that he heard Anas bin Mรขlik (RA) saying
